Business Sense Associates
Business Sense Associates is the Prime Provider of the NEA in Wales. The New Enterprise Allowance is a programme to help people who are in receipt of benefits to start their own business. The first workshop (LUSU) gives you an overview of self employment and the New Enterprise Allowance programme.
After attending this workshop you are eligible to join the New Enterprise Allowance programme. Once on the programme you will have your own dedicated Business Advisor who will be with you for 1 2 1 meetings up to the end of your first year of trading. On the programme there is plenty of practical help and support such as:-
- Up to £1274 of support when you start trading
- Help with the Business Plan and cashflow forecast
- Help with Marketing
- Help with Social Media
- Marketing & Finance workshops
- Book Keeping & Accounts
- How to find customers
- How much to charge
- How to get paid
New Enterprise Allowance covers all areas of Wales. To be referred to the LUSU workshop you will need to ask your work coach in the job centre for a referral – any work coach can do this for you if yours is not available.
