IT Associates is led by Steve Huggett, a digital transformation specialist, AI consultant and educator with more than 35 years' experience helping organisations adopt new technology.
Steve has worked through successive waves of workplace technology, from the introduction of PCs and business systems in the late 1980s through networking, the internet, web, mobile and cloud technologies to today's rapid adoption of artificial intelligence.
Steve's AI training is delivered under the AI Elevator Program, the dedicated AI training and education part of IT Associates. The program takes people from Understand AI, through Think with AI, to Build with AI, with additional sessions covering practical AI use, safe and responsible adoption and emerging business applications.
Since 2023, Steve has introduced more than 400 people to practical AI through workshops, webinars, talks and demonstrations, with more than 300 people completing his current AI Foundations programme.
His training ranges from open workshops and webinars to tailored sessions for internal teams. The emphasis is on understanding first, using plain English, practical examples and interactive exercises to give people the confidence to apply AI safely and effectively in their day-to-day work.
