North East Sustainable Energy Supply Chain Programme

The North East Sustainable Energy Supply Chain Programme is an initiative which is working to help small businesses in the North East of Northern Ireland plug into the opportunities offered by the renewable energy, oil and gas sectors. These energy sectors represent the most significant investment opportunity that a generation of businesses in the North East area can harness and benefit from. Much of this investment will be driven by well-established multinational companies but opportunities will exist down through the supply chain right down to small businesses and even sole-traders. Our programme provides support via one to one mentoring, attendance at Meet the Buyer Events and Best Practice visits such attendance at All Energy in Glasgow or the Energy Show in Dublin.

The North East supply chain project is an initiative of Mid & East Antrim Borough Council, Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council, Causeway, Coast and Glens Borough Council and is funded by Invest NI and the European Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland.
