Built Environment Sustainability Training (BEST)
The BEST programme provides a strategy for tailored, relevant, sustainability-focused training for the existing Built Environment workforce of Wales. Working with training partners, the programme is piloting an innovative blend of traditional- and blended-learning courses. These courses lead to transferable qualifications and skills in new technologies, applications and process that will future-proof the built environment whilst enhancing Wales’ reputation as a frontrunner of sustainability in the UK and beyond.
BEST is led by the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University in partnership with the Building Futures Group, CITB, Constructing Excellence in Wales, the Energy Saving Trust, Proskills and Summit Skills. BEST is supported by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government.
