Read Construction have been trading for over 25 years as a regional Main Contracting organisation within all sectors of the construction industry other than social housing.
Specialising in the delivery of construction projects to the education and healthcare sectors.
We have delivered numerous refurbishment, extension, new build, fit out and renovation projects under all types of contract including design and build, traditional, partnering and frameworks.
During this time, Read have delivered in excess of 300 education projects to a mixture of local authority and private operated facilities, many of which have been within “live” school campuses during term time.
As such, we have a broad understanding of the complexities and challenges working on occupied sites, and the specific challenges associated with working in close proximity to young people. We mitigate risk through collaborative planning and effective communication and segregation strategies, mindful of the end user needs.
