The Prince’s Trust

The Prince’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for young people, we listen to their issues and concerns in order to provide the best possible support.

Many of the young people we help are in, or leaving, care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law.

Our free programmes give young people across Wales the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives. We help them develop key skills while boosting their confidence and motivation and believe that every young person should have the chance to succeed.

The Prince’s Trust Enterprise programme is aimed at 18-30 year old's who are interested in starting their own business.

The programme supports unemployed young people to work out if self-employment is right for them, help them test their ideas, write plans and hopefully start a business.

Participation and completion of the programme can lead to a recognised Exploring Enterprise Level 1 or Level 2 Qualification that covers elements including “marketing”, “business planning” “understanding money “and “market research”.

We work with thousands of young people across Wales each year, providing them with the tools they need to succeed. And with dedicated centres across the country, we’re well-placed to meet young people’s needs.
