Summary
The Council seeks suitably experienced and competent Contractors to tender to be awarded on to a Framework Agreement for Accommodation and Support for Living a Good Life (the “Services”) across the County of Powys. The Service is to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support and care services for adults with disabilities, mental health needs, and complex care requirements.
What will the event cover?
The event will bring together Supported Living providers to share information, outline future commissioning intentions, and strengthen collaborative working across the sector. The session will include:
1. Overview of Strategic Commissioning Priorities
• Presentation of the local authority’s current and future vision for Supported Living services.
• Discussion of population needs, key pressures, and planned service developments (including accommodation models).
2. Future Opportunities
• Information on projected demand for Supported Living services.
3. Locality Model and Service Fund
• An overview of the locality-based commissioning model.
• Introduction to the Locality Service Fund.
4. Provider Engagement, Challenges, and Innovation
• Facilitated discussion on provider experiences, operational challenges, and barriers to growth.
• Sharing examples of innovative practice and opportunities for collaboration.
5. Next Steps and timelines

Supported Living Providers (current and prospective) delivering care and support to adults with disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex care.
Important - This event is for Welsh based small and medium-sized enterprises and is restricted to two delegates per business.
