A free hands-on workshop, delivered by MWT Cymru on behalf of the Welsh Government, for tourism and hospitality businesses in Wales.
Running a business is hard enough without trying to keep up with the latest tech. If you’ve heard people talking about “AI” and you’re wondering if it’s worth your time – this workshop is for you.
We’ll show you real, practical ways to use AI tools like ChatGPT to save time, attract more customers, make your business stand out and help convert interest to bookings:
- Create scroll-stopping social media posts that boost attention, engagement, and bookings without spending hours on content.
- Optimise your Visit Wales and Google listings so they’re clear, compelling, and easy for customers and AI search tools to find and choose you!
- Respond quickly to customer questions with friendly, professional messages that build trust and free up your time.
- Save hours on content, updates, and emails, giving you more space to focus on running your business instead of admin.
Who can attend
This workshop is designed for SME and micro tourism and hospitality businesses, whether you’re completely new to AI or already experimenting and want more structure, confidence and practical next steps. To allow as many businesses as possible to attend, places are restricted to a maximum of two per business/organisation.
What to Expect
- This isn’t about complicated tech or buzzwords. It’s about simple, low-cost tools you can start using straight away, with step-by-step guidance, live demos, and hands-on activities throughout.
- We’ll also talk about how small changes like updating your listings or tweaking your website wording, can make a big difference in helping visitors find and trust your business online.
- You’ll leave with clear actions you can take the same day, whether that’s planning your next few posts or making sure your business shows up in the right places.

Stick around for the optional afternoon session – our Action Lab – where we’ll work with you one-to-one or in small groups to turning what you have learned into immediate, practical action.

- 9:30am for a 10am start
- 1pm – 1:45pm: A light lunch will be provided

These workshops are fully funded by Welsh Government. Workshops are delivered by MWT Cymru, a not-for-profit organisation that’s been helping tourism businesses in Wales for over 30 years. MWT Cymru specialise in simple, effective ways to boost your visibility and make digital marketing less stressful.
