This course introduces the tendering process from start to finish, focusing on how your new business can find opportunities, register as a supplier, understand tender documents, and decide how to approach your first bid. It explains tendering in clear, practical terms and removes much of the confusion and intimidation around bidding for work.
By attending this course, participants will:
· Understand what a tender is and why organisations use them
· Know where to find tender opportunities and how to access them
· Feel confident registering on tender portals and setting up supplier profiles
· Understand what tender documents include and how they are used
· Know what steps to follow when deciding to bid
Presenter bio –
I created the Tender Coach to support businesses who want to feel more capable and confident when it comes to tendering. I work with businesses that know they’re good at what they do, but struggle to translate that into strong, clear tender responses.
With over 20 years of hands-on experience in bid and tender management, I’ve seen how overwhelming the process can feel, but I’ve also seen how much easier it becomes with the right structure, guidance and understanding.
I’ve worked with bid teams of every size, from small, close-knit groups to large international teams, handling everything from quick email submissions to complex tenders shipped in a crate. The bids may differ, but the same basics always matter clarity, compliance, and content that’s easy to read and easy to score.
My aim is to help you understand the process, build better habits, and develop skills that stay with you. Through practical training and one-to-one coaching, I support teams to improve how they approach tenders in a way that feels manageable and realistic.
