BOLD Wales Showcase aims:
Share the research findings from the BOLD Wales Substance Misuse project including:
· The impact of intergenerational substance misuse: Foetal anomalies related to substance use; looked after children; and, impact for the children of adult substance use within the household.
· Early engagement and prevention of escalation of substance use – implications for health services and preventing premature mortality.
· Reducing reoffending and the outcomes from Community Substance Treatment Requirements.
· Substance misuse treatment effectiveness and predictors of non-completion.
· Substance use, experience of homelessness and health service use.
Themed workshops to identify policy and service improvements drawing on the findings from BOLD Wales research.
Identify opportunities to build on progress of data sharing and data linkage to improve outcomes for vulnerable people.
This event is aimed at Policy makers, Substance misuse and health service planners and commissioners, criminal justice, housing and homelessness, social care and substance misuse professional leads, Public Health and academia.
