Clean Growth Innovation Community Insight Event

The fully-funded Clean Growth Innovation Community (CGIC) programme will support private sector businesses and third sector organisations to develop innovation and Circular Economy (CE) capabilities and clean growth plans innovation plans, within a network of like-minded people from across the Vale of Glamorgan. This program is fully funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

We’re bringing businesses together from local authorities such as Vale of Glamorgan, Caerphilly, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot, to collaboratively develop their circular economy understanding and innovation plans to support clean growth and contribute to Welsh Government’s ‘Net Zero Wales’ ambitions.

You’ll join people from a variety of organisations and participate in a programme of interactive, output focused workshops. You will learn innovation methods and tools that can enhance productivity, increase customer satisfaction and deliver Circular Economy benefits. You’ll be supported to develop innovation plans that can be implemented and signposted to innovation funding. The programme is designed for people who can influence service and product development.

The 6-month programme will include

· Monthly workshops to develop innovation skills and build strong networks to support innovation plan development.

· R&D support from WRAP Cymru and University staff.

Outcomes include:

· Enhanced innovation knowledge & skills

· Circular Economy knowledge development

· Clean Growth Plan/net Zero plan

· Innovation Plan

· Innovation Network membership

No variation to these conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing between the authorised representatives of the event organiser and the delegate and/or their sponsoring organisation. The delegate and their sponsoring organisation acknowledge that these terms and conditions supersede any written or verbal communication.
