Creating a Website
This workshop is aimed at people who either wish to get a Website, or improve the one that they have and promote it online. A website needs to look good but also needs to be effective. This workshop will show you how.
This session will explain what is required to either build your own Website, or find a Web Developer to build it for you. You will learn how to pick the right domain name, Web hosting and what to look for in a good Website. You won’t be able to build a Website whilst on the course but there will be demonstrations of the best DIY options with tips on what to include.
Once your Website is built, you need to promote it. We explain in simple terms how to get listed on the search engines such as Google, and explore other options for getting customers to your Website such as email marketing, social media and link building.
Please note that spaces are limited to 20 per workshop, on a first come first served basis.
For further information regarding the workshop, please contact the Service Centre on 08456 000 813.
