These sessions will enable senior leaders to develop their understanding of the importance of the Enabling learning guidance and how it can support planning, designing and implementing a pedagogically appropriate curriculum for all learners.
They are open to all senior leaders of Primary, Secondary, all age and Special schools, as well as PRUs, in Wales.
The sessions will be in-person and will involve a blend of presenter-led content and group activities. Each session will be around 2hrs and 30 minutes.

Welsh Government (‘we’) will be the data controller for the personal data you provide to participate in this event and will process it in the exercise of our public task and the official authority vested in us for the administration of the event. We will retain your personal data for 3 months following the end of the event, after which time it will be securely deleted
To send you information about the event we will gather personal details including name, email address, job role, language preference, school/setting/organisation name and Local Authority. We will also gather information relating to specific access, dietary and/or other requirements to ensure any additional requirements are met during the event.
In the interests of networking during the event, your name will be shared with other registered attendees. If you would prefer us not to do this, please let us know through contacting foundationlearning@gov.wales
We will only use your personal data for the purpose of the event. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and we want to make sure that you are aware of how your personal information may be used.
Videos and photographs may be taken at the event, and used for the following purposes:
· To promote the event on social media, our newsletter and in other marketing materials.
· To document the event for historical purposes.
· To develop future support materials.
If you do not want wish to be recorded or photographed, please contact foundationlearning@gov.wales at least 48 hours prior to the event. An area will be set aside for those who have expressed a wish not to be photographed or recorded, where these will not be taken.
Under the data protection legislation, you have the right:
· to access the personal data the Welsh Government holds on you
· to require us to rectify inaccuracies in that data
· to (in certain circumstances) object to or restrict processing
· for (in certain circumstances) your data to be ‘erased’
· to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) who is our independent regulator for data protection
By registering for the event, you agree that the personal data you submit as part of your registration can be used for the following purpose:
· to communicate with you regarding the event you have registered.
· to be shared with the venues, for health and safety purposes and to organise and co-ordinate the event.
