Catch and cover crops are widely used across all sectors of crop production for many reasons, including their ability to improve key soil functions, reduce soil erosion, and cycle nutrients.
Colin Philips welcomes you to The Dairy Farm, who runs a 50-head suckler herd and grows wheat, oil seed, beans, oats and maize and has successfully incorporated cover crops within his maize system.
Chris Taylor, a qualified agronomist since 2014 works closely with arable farms in South Wales and beyond. Chris will be the main speaker at the meeting along with Colin sharing his experience.
