This workshop will give you a general overview of the tools available to a LEAN practitioner and how these tools can be used in any setting to identify issues and provide suitable solutions that can help drive productivity and reduce costs. LEAN is already very popular amongst in a production & manufacturing setting but you will learn how it can also bring benefits to a more traditional office setting.
You will also learn how LEAN techniques when applied in conjunction to positive environmental attitudes and practises can have beneficial results in driving efficiency, improving profits, demonstrating good social responsibility and can help any management team to understand the processes they manage, the impact they have and simple ways to implement change that is supported by thorough investigation and analysis of the problem.
This is a taster workshop, in which you will learn about what tools are available to the LEAN practitioner wanting to make positive environmental choices however it is not intended for someone already established in applying LEAN or 6Sigma control techniques.
