Understanding your customers isn’t just good practice — it’s essential for effective, efficient marketing that actually delivers results.

Many businesses struggle to reach the right audiences because they haven’t clearly defined who their customers are or how their needs differ. Without the right customer categories and insights, marketing activity can become unfocused, costly and less impactful than it should be.

This practical webinar is designed for food and drink businesses across Wales looking to strengthen their marketing foundations. It will show you how simple, structured customer categorisation can transform your marketing activity — helping you target the right people, at the right time, with the right message.

You’ll learn:

  • Why customer categorisation is essential for modern marketing
  • How to identify different customer groups based on behaviours, needs and value
  • Practical ways to gather meaningful customer insights
  • How to tailor your marketing messages to each customer category
  • Simple tools and frameworks to help you segment quickly and effectively

You’ll leave with clear, actionable steps to refine your customer categories and boost the impact of your marketing — helping you attract more of the customers you want and build stronger relationships with the ones you already have.
