SALSA Issue 7 - Key Changes Event

SALSA launched Issue 7 of its new Food and Drink Production Standard, from the 1st June 2026 [SALSA – Latest News]. The new standard is now available on the SALSA website, allowing businesses to view the requirements and start preparing.  From 1st September 2026, all SALSA audits will be conducted against the updated standard.

This event has been specifically designed to:

• Clearly explain the key changes introduced in Issue 7
• Provide businesses with practical insight into how compliance can be demonstrated.

Delegates will explore and discuss significant areas of change, including:

• Food fraud resilience
• Management of change
• Other key updates impacting SALSA compliance

The session will share best‑practice approaches, encourage discussion, and support businesses in preparing confidently for the transition to Issue 7.

Attendance costs

Depending on your company size and eligibility, attendance at these workshops can be partially or fully funded.

The cost for each delegate attending the workshop will vary depending on the size of the company they work for. This is determined by Welsh Government funding regulations.

In the workshop registration form, you will be asked to provide company Subsidy Control information for the past three years and confirm the size of your company. Please refer to your finance business team to ensure this information is accurate as it may be subject to audit.
