Separate Collection of Waste Materials for Recycling – What your business needs to know?

Cost: Free

Important - This event is for Welsh based small and medium-sized enterprises and is restricted to two delegates per business.

This webinar will bring you up to date with planned changes to Waste management regulations, which place an obligation on all businesses to separate out waste streams for collection and recycling.  We will cover off the why and the how, and how you can achieve compliance.  With waste collection costs often a fraction of the true cost of waste (in terms of wasted labour, raw materials, unsatisfied orders, energy costs etc) we’ll also use this opportunity to look at where waste arises in your business and how this can be avoided.

We’ll include the following topics:

  • Introduction to waste management principles, key legislation and the circular economy
  • How to achieve compliance and what you might need from your waste contractor (i.e. recycling bins, collections frequency etc)
  • Where and why waste arises in your business, and how to identity and reduce it

Training, staff & supplier engagement, and next steps
