Start-up to Scale Up

Overview

Cost: Free

Starting a growth business comes with a long list of decisions—whether you’ll hire a team, work from home or an office (or both), what IT set-up you need, how you’ll market your offer, and when to register for VAT— it can feel daunting.

Business Wales’ Start–Up to Scale Up webinar is designed to support start-ups with growth potential, guiding you through the key steps of launching and scaling from scratch so you can build a clear, confident plan.

You’ll receive practical resources including a webinar workbook, business planning tools, a growth business plan template and cashflow templates, alongside a live Q&A. After the webinar, you can access ongoing support and guidance from a Business Wales Start-up Growth Advisor and the wider ecosystem of Business Wales support.

By the end of the session, you will:

· Understand the key tasks needed to start a business and prepare to launch.

· Recognise the importance of market research and identify your potential customers.

· Learn how to scale a growth start-up and maximise your business potential.

· Know how to create a business plan, cashflow and financial forecasts.

· Explore where to get advice and how to source finance, plus what support is available through Business Wales.
