Strategic Business Analysis (SBA) Module

Level 5 / 10 Credits

The aim of this module is to enhance your understanding of the internal and external business environment by focussing on 7 key areas of business.  Participants will gain the necessary skills and tools required to support and manage a growing business and workforce.

During the module, you will explore ways to:

  1. maximise sales and production targets to ensure efficiency and profitability within your business
  2. improve operational processes and procedures
  3. improve team performance and motivation
  4. gain a competitive advantage within your sector
  5. compete in a global market

Each of the 7 themes will be delivered in short, effective bite-sized sessions over the course of the two day module:

1 Financial Management

2. Sales and Marketing

3. Managing Operations

4. Business Communications

5. Business Strategy

6. Governance and Ethics

7. Developing People

 

Business sustainability is also addressed in line with the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.

Mentoring Support:

You will receive support from an experienced business mentor who will work with you to review your business, to produce a strategic diagnostic report and complete a bespoke Training Needs Analysis which will help you to identify the unique training needs of your organisation.  This training is available through the programme to upskill your workforce in Phase Two.
