Visit Wales Roadshows 2019
Visit Wales will be holding a series of half-day roadshows across Wales in October 2019. These roadshows will mainly focus on Emerging Priorities to the Visitor Economy - which will be the successor to the current Tourism Strategy; Partnership for Growth. We'll also be sharing news of our 2020 marketing campaign - Year of Outdoors; how you can get involved in The Wales Way; and news on the latest projects to receive Visit Wales support.
Free business advice will also be available from the trade stand area during the breaks and at lunchtime. Organisations attending will include:
- Superfast Business Wales
- Welsh for Business - a Welsh Government initiative to help small businesses with a wide range of support services, including free translation of menus, social media messages and promotional materials
- Local Authorities (where possible)
- Keep Wales Tidy
- Wales. A Food Destination – supporting businesses to source, serve and sell Welsh food and drink
Please check your local event for start and finish times as these will vary - a light lunch will be provided.
We'll also be running a short workshop to help you make the most of your listing on VisitWales.com. For more information about the workshop and how to book your place, please visit https://wales.business-events.org.uk/en/events/making-the-most-of-your-listing-on-visitwales-com/. Please note, booking a place on the workshop does not automatically reserve you a place at the roadshow and vice versa. Separate bookings must be made to attend the workshop and the roadshow.
Places are limited due to venue capacity. To allow as many businesses as possible to attend we’re asking politely for you to restrict numbers to a maximum of two places per business/organisation. Please remember, you’ll need to complete a separate booking for each person.
Please read the Welsh Government privacy notice which tells you what to expect when you provide us with your personal information. After registering for this event, you will be emailed joining instructions (near the event date) and you will also be invited to complete an online feedback form after the event
We reserve the right to only accept single registrations from each business/organisation if the events become over-subscribed.
For the way Business Wales handles your information, see here. If you book a place on a Business Wales or Welsh Government event, we may use the information you provide to offer you personalised or local services, to notify you of changes to our service, to ask your opinions and to help us to improve our services.
