Waste regulations webinar

Overview

Cost: Free

This webinar will bring you up to date with planned changes to Waste management regulations, which place an obligation all businesses to separate out waste streams for collection.  We will cover off the why and the how, and how you can achieve compliance. With waste disposal costs often a fraction of the true cost of waste (in terms of wasted labour, raw materials, unsatisfied orders etc.) we’ll also use this opportunity to look at where waste arises in your business and how this can be avoided.

We’ll cover off the following topics:

·        Introduction to waste management principles, key legislation and the circular economy

·        How to achieve compliance and what you might need from your waste contractor (i.e. bins, collections frequency etc.)

·        Where and why waste arises in your business, and how to identity and reduce it

·        Training, staff engagement, and next steps

This event is delivered by Business Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government.
