Presenter Biography - Amberley Steenhagen

I started as a freelance Business Support Facilitator for Welsh ICE two years ago, right at the beginning of my own self-employment journey. Since then, I’ve witnessed countless entrepreneurs grow their seed of an idea into a flourishing business. As a freelancer myself, I understand it all — the equal parts fear and excitement that come with taking those first steps to work for yourself — and I use my own experience to guide others.

With a degree in Media and Journalism from Cardiff University and four years’ experience in various marketing roles, my expertise lies in helping people think creatively and develop strong marketing and social media plans for their business.

I always lead with a person-centred approach. Every individual and every business is different, so it’s important to me to support people based on their needs, help them find their strengths and what makes them unique — and maybe also learn a thing or two from them along the way.
