Ystadau Cymru Conference 2024 - "Managing risk across the public estate"

The Ystadau Cymru Conference 2024 encourages excellence in strategic management of the Welsh public sector estate by promoting collaboration and good practice. 

This year our theme will be “Managing risk across the public estate”

The conference will celebrate some exceptional collaborative projects and the Ystadau Cymru Awards 2024 will be presented.

A full agenda will be released closer to the time and will include a range of presentations including:

·       Case study sessions.

·       Building Safety.

·       Climate change, decarbonisation and adaptation.

·       Corporate resource risks.

This event will be held via Microsoft Teams and will include presentation sessions in the morning and the awards early afternoon.

A meeting link will be sent out nearer the time.

This online event is for those involved either directly or indirectly in public sector asset management. The conference will explore risk in relation to building safety, decarbonisation and reduced resources.  It is an opportunity to share best practice, celebrate our achievements and explore different ways of working. Voluntary and third sector partners would also benefit from this event.

Background

 

Ystadau Cymru is part of the Welsh Government Land Division and provides the opportunity for collaborative working, a network to share ideas, experiences, good practice and access to meetings and events.

 

Data Controller

 

Welsh Government will be the data controller for any personal data you provide to participate in the event. We will process it as part of our public task and under the official authority vested in us.

The lawful basis for collecting this information under Article 6(1) of the UK General Data Protection Regulations is article Article 6(1)(e) – task in the public interest.

 

What do we do with your information?

We will ask for the following information so delegates can register for the event. The types of personal data that will be collected in the registration form will include are:

·       Your name

·       Your job title

·       Your organisation

·       Your work e-mail address

·       Accessibility requirements

We will communicate via e-mail any information in relation to the event and to issue a feedback questionnaire after the event. Any feedback which is given will be anonymised.

Who do we share your information with?

Information held is only accessed by authorised staff members within the Welsh Government Ystadau Cymru Team.

 

Any information provided is stored on a protected area of iShare (internal document management system) which is only accessed by authorised staff.

 

How long will we keep the information?

We will only use your personal data for the purpose of running the event.

Your rights in relation to your information

Under data protection legislation, you have the right:

  • to be informed of the personal data Welsh Government holds about you and to access it.
  • to require us to rectify inaccuracies in that data.
  • to (in certain circumstances) object to or restrict processing.
  • for (in certain circumstances) your data to be ‘erased’.
