ARCITEKBIO, a spinout from Aberystwyth University, was founded on three principles. - sustainable growth, innovation with impact and value creation. After 5 years and >£1M investment in research, we have developed a robust yeast based biomanufacturing solution that converts agricultural wastes like wheat straw and wood pulp into a high value 100% renewable sweetener.
Alongside we are also enthusiastic about spreading the word and opportunity for businesses to valorise their waste and meet partners who can utilise waste/side streams for suitable productions. For this purpose we run project Revalue - supported by the Welsh Government. Revalue brings businesses together, provides compositional and TEA analyses and matches business with each other.
