Do’s & Don'ts of Diversification

Overview

Cost: Free

Join Farming Connect to hear all about the world of farm diversification by Dave Oates from Farm for Nature/Rosuick Organic Farm. Rosuick Farm is a traditional farm in the heart of the Cornish peninsula that has diversified into a variety of avenues, from camel trekking, wedding venues and accommodation to an education centre whilst still farming commercially with a strong environmental ethos.

This event can help you gain valuable insights on:

  • How Dave manages his numerous diversification businesses alongside the  commercial farm sustainably

  • What to consider when exploring diversification options - whether you are just starting out or a seasoned diversified farmer

  • What Dave has learned from his experiences - his personal do’s and don’t

  • His aim to connect people with food, farming and nature
