What are they?

An Innovation Funding Support Meeting is a confidential consultation between a business and a panel comprised of members of the Public Sector Business Innovation Support Community in Wales. The purpose of the Innovation Funding Support Meeting is to assist firms with accessing funding, improving R&D projects and commercialising their results. These consultations are 45 minutes long, and have time allotted to receive feedback from the panel.  It is expected a company at Pre-Start or Startup to have a Business Plan in place.  It is intended to help organisations  with proposed projects at TRL 3-8. When are the Innovation Funding Support Meetings?

Generalist Innovation Funding Support Meeting are usually run monthly - although additional surgeries may be held depending on demand.  Specialist Innovation Funding Support Meeting in support of competitions or other themes are also hosted subject to demand.
